CAREER PERSPECTIVE

My working life has taken me from my first job at Quick Shop grocery store in Bogalusa, to managing and owning a small business, to office management, and ultimately to many years of accounting and full-charge bookkeeping.

Those experiences taught me the importance of balancing the books, documenting how money is spent, checking the details, asking questions when something doesn't add up, and accepting responsibility for the work entrusted to you.

After a long and varied career, I retired on December 31, 2018.
