When we take care of our city and parks, celebrate together and recognize one another, Bogalusa becomes more than a place we live - it becomes a place we love.
As your City Councilwoman of District C, here's part of my plan to build pride and strengthen our connection to each other:
A Garden of the Month program
An annual plant swap and Green Thumb Festival
Patriotic music playing at July 4th fireworks
Music and synchronized lighting of Bogalusa's Christmas lights in Cassidy Park
Recognition of an outstanding Bogalusa resident each month
Bring in organizations to explain how they can provide assistance to residents
Revitalize our parks by creating more activities for our teens
Honor Bogalusa's history by obtaining historical designation for both municipal cemetaries and seek grants for their maintenance
Pride builds unity. Unity creates progress. And progress makes Bogalusa a place where we all want to call home!
