𝐌𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐚 — 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟑: 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞

𝐀 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

When we talk about progress, we have to talk about the things that affect our everyday lives—our 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐬𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬, 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

These aren't glamorous projects, but they are essential to the future of our city.

As your City Council representative, I believe we need to stop looking at infrastructure problems one project at a time and start looking at the 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

My vision includes:

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺.

𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 with a plan based on safety, need, and long-term value.

 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 to help reduce flooding and protect homes and property.

𝗔𝗴𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 and other outside funding so we make every taxpayer dollar go further.

𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 with clear priorities—not just reacting to the next problem that appears.

𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 about projects, funding, timelines, and progress.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 when cooperation can help us access resources and reduce costs.

I don't believe we can fix everything at once. But 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱—𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

Bogalusa deserves infrastructure that supports our families, our businesses, and our future.
